Govt announces advance salaries, pensions for Christian employees

The federal government has decided to provide major relief to federal employees and pensioners belonging to the Christian community ahead of Christmas.

According to officials of the Ministry of Finance, salaries and pensions for Christian federal employees and pensioners for December 2025 will be paid in advance.

The advance payment will be made on December 22, enabling Christian employees and pensioners to conveniently make arrangements for their religious celebrations and preparations.

The Ministry of Finance has issued instructions to the Controller General of Accounts, Islamabad, to ensure necessary arrangements for the advance disbursement.

The advance payment will apply to all eligible federal employees and pensioners belonging to the Christian community.
