Terrorists ambushed a Gwadar-Karachi bus in Kalmat, killing six, including five who were identified and shot on the spot.

Another wounded passenger succumbed to injuries at the hospital. 

According to the police, one of the deceased was a resident of Multan, while efforts to identify the others are ongoing.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the brutal attack on passengers, calling it a tragic and inhumane act. He expressed deep sorrow over the incident and extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims.

Naqvi denounced the attack as a cowardly act of terrorism, stating that no amount of condemnation could suffice. He emphasized that targeting innocent passengers after identification is a barbaric and cruel act, amounting to a crime against humanity.

Reaffirming the government's commitment to eradicating terrorism, Naqvi stressed that such cowardly attacks would not weaken the nation's resolve.
