"Hug karna hai.. ajaooo ajaoo..": Maryam Nawaz fulfills wish of specially-abled girl

Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz fulfilled the wish of a specially-abled girl, who wanted to hug her.

"Hug karna hai..ajaooo.." Maryam Nawaz can be listened to while hugging the girl during a ceremony in Lahore.

Addressing the ceremony, Maryam said all these kids are my heroes.

"They can't hear but come to school. These are the real heroes.”

The chief minister said the government is taking special steps for these children.

“I will do whatever it takes to bring these children into the mainstream," Maryam maintained, adding that after meeting these children, her resolve to serve them renewed.

“We’re making 300 special education schools the centres of excellence. Funds for the purpose have been released,” she said.

She announced: “We will establish a special autism institute. Whoever wants a wheelchair write to me. He will get it immediately.”

A child asked about Nawaz Sharif in sign language, she said, adding that she would convey the message to Nawaz Sharif.
