PM Shehbaz Sharif felicitates Hindu community on Holi

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday felicitated the country's Hindu community on the occasion of Holi, as they celebrate the festival of colours across Pakistan.
Taking to X, the premier worte: "I extend my felicitations to the Hindu community on the auspicious occasion of Holi festival - the Festival of Colors."
“As Pakistanis, we take pride in the multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-cultural and multi-religious characteristics of our society,” he added.
The PML-N President called for the day to be commemorated with a resolve to “celebrate our differences as strengths”.
"May the arrival of spring bring new beginnings, hope, and happiness to us all. Happy Holi to all who celebrate!"
On the other hand, President Asif Ali Zardari recognised the Hindu community’s invaluable contribution to the country.
“The constitution of Pakistan guarantees religious freedom and Pakistan is a beautiful bouquet of people belonging to all religions,” the President said in a statement.
Similarly, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, while extending her best wishes to the Pakistani Hindus, announced to give Rs10,000 each to 700 Hindu families.
