Immediately after setting the car on fire, Shiraz told Armughan to leave the site return to Karachi. They fled the scene on foot and reached back Karachi after taking lifts from different vehicles.
Investigating officers stated that based on a tip-off from Armughan, an operation was conducted at his bungalow in Khayaban-e-Momin, where an iron rod hidden in the guard room was recovered.
