Imran Khan arrested in seven more cases

Rawalpindi police arrested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan was arrested by the police in seven more cases. The details of the cases have not been shared so far.
The latest development came at a time when Imran Khan was already facing a case pertaining to vandalism and arson in a September 28 protest.
Imran Khan's arrest is linked to the party’s recent protest march to Islamabad on November 24, which reportedly claimed the lives of dozens of workers and members of security forces.
The government and security forces accused PTI leaders and workers of pelting stones at police personnel, torching police vans and blocking the roads by a gathering crowd.
Former prime minister Imran Khan was produced before the special court at Adiala jail after six days of physical remand and immediately after the hearing, Rawalpindi arrested him in seven more cases.
The prosecution did not request the court to extend the remand, subsequently, the court granted his judicial remand.
