Aleema Khan has claimed her brother ex- PM Imran Khan is sad over PAF airstrikes in Afghanistan.
Pakistani fighter jets launched airstrikes on four locations, reportedly camps of the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), in Afghanistan’s eastern Paktika province on Tuesday night.
The strikes, according to security officials, resulted in several suspected terrorists being killed or injured.
Talking to newsmen outside Adiala Jail after meeting Imran, Aleema emphasized Khan’s concerns about the link between Pakistan’s peace and Afghanistan’s stability.
He warned that any unrest at the borders could have serious repercussions for Pakistan. Imran Khan also highlighted the need for economic stability and urged that if institutions remain entangled in politics, the nation’s borders would be left unprotected.
