Incarcerated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan took aim at Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa for allegedly working on the London plan orchestrated by PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif.
A day earlier, the army spokesman asked PTI to apologise for the May 9 riots, in which several military and civil installations were vandalised by PTI workers and supporters after the arrest of party founder Imran Khan in a corruption case.
During his press conference, Maj-Gen Chaudhry also termed PTI an "anarchist group".
The former prime minister took to the microblogging site X to respond to the presser.
The former premier raised several questions seeking answers from the top army brass.
- On whose orders I was abducted from the Islamabad High Court by paramilitary armed forces on 9 May 2023?
- On whose order CCTV footage was stolen from Islamabad High Court?
- Who gave orders to open fire at civilians protesting peacefully against my violent abduction
- On whose orders the families of the victims were intimidated and pressured to refrain from taking legal action against the murder of their loved ones.
- On whose order was the security of Corps Commander House [Lahore] and Cant Station removed?
The cricketer-turned-politician likened the event of May 9 with the fall of Dahaka in 1971.
Last year on May 9, several military and civil installations were vandalised by PTI workers and supporters after the arrest of Mr Khan in a corruption case.
Following the attacks, several PTI leaders took a break from politics or left the party condemning attacks on military installations.
"The whole state system is based on lies and fraud. Former CJP Umar Ata Bandial ordered to hold elections on May 14, then he was threatened by sit-ins, protests and long marches [by PDM], on which he referred the matter to the Jirga. It was clearly stated in the Jirga that Nawaz Sharif would not return until [CJP] Qazi Faez Isa became the Chief Justice," the veteran politician claimed.
"The Chief Justice of Pakistan and the Chief Election Commissioner are clearly engaged day and night as facilitators in the implementation of this plan [London Plan]," The PTI founding-chairman alleged.
The 71-year-old is currently incarcerated in Adiala jail in several charges, including Cipher case and Iddat case.
