Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has said that he would only hold talks with those who are in "real power" in the country.
The former prime minister made the remarks while talking to journalists following the hearing of the £190 million corruption case at Adiala jail.
A day earlier, it was reported that the PTI founder had formed a three-member committee to engage in dialogues with the government and establishment.
Mr Khan refuted the government's claims of providing him with all basic facilities in prison cell.
"I have been kept in a death cell. I had never requested any favours or facilities" he said.
"The Hamoodur Rahman Commission was established for two purposes: to prevent the repetition of past mistakes and to identify those responsible. The commission held General Yahya Khan accountable for prioritising his power, and today, the same mistakes are being repeated, leading to economic collapse," the 72-year-old politician added.
The cricketer-turned-politician once again denied joining the Federal Investigation Agency's probe into a controversial post from his X account.
"I will respond to FIA only in the presence of my lawyers. Mohsin Naqvi is hatching this plot against me."
Demanding an apology from FIA for lodging a false cipher case against him, the ex-premier said: "Political vendetta is ongoing in the country."
It's pertinent to mention here that Mr Khan and his close aide Shah Mahmood Qureshi were acquitted by the Islamabad High Court in the diplomatic cable case.
The senior politicians were sentenced to ten years in rigorous prison in the cipher case.
