Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan on Monday hinted at initiating dialogue with the establishment, whom he considered a "big bull" in the country's politics.
In an informal conversation with journalists at Adiala jail, the former prime minister opened up about the show cause notice sent to party leader Sher Afzal Khan Marwat, saying he was removed from the party's core committee over violation of party policy.
"Marwat had done a great job for the party, but he was told several times not to violate the party policy," Mr Khan added.
The veteran politician also expressed dismay over Marwat's controversial remarks against Saudi Arabia, in which PTI lawmaker claimed that the Kingdom was involved in removing Imran Khan as prime minister.
The ex-premier also informed journalists that he will write a letter to to Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir over the country's political situation.
"The government will have to be formed as per the public mandate, the country cannot run without it," Mr Khan stressed.
Earlier, the PTI founder requested Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Maj-Gen Ahmed Sharif not to drag the army into politics.
However, the 71-year-old politico several times expressed his desire to hold dialogues with the top brass of the military.
