A popular bakery in Islamabad has issued an apology following an incident involving Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa, stating that its administration is investigating the viral video.

On September 25, a video surfaced on social media showing CJP Qazi Faez Isa buying donuts at the bakery with his family.

A bakery employee recognised the apex court's head and proceeded to hurl insults at him while filming his video.

"We are aware of a video circulating where an employee refused service to a customer. This action was an individual decision and does not reflect our company’s values," the bakery said in a statement released on Instagram.

Ehtisham Ali Abbasi, a self-proclaimed crime reporter, shared the video on X, where it has since garnered over 700,000 views on the platform.

Rumours began circulating that the donut shop had been sealed by authorities and that the employee involved had been fired.

However, a fact check confirmed these claims to be false, as the shop remains open and continues to serve customers.

It is worth noting that the bakery was previously sealed on September 11 for violating SOPs related to preventing the spread of the dengue virus in the city.

Journalist Ali Hamza revealed on X that the incident involving CJP Isa occurred in August 2024 following the Supreme Court's verdict in the Mubarak Sani case.
