Speaking to Dialogue Pakistan, Gen-Z siblings Abdullah Iqbal and Tazneem Iqbal shared how they turned their entrepreneurial dream into reality by launching their healthy snacking venture, Element C, with the support of their family.

The siblings said they had always aspired to start a business rather than pursue conventional jobs. Abdullah shared that the idea for the venture came while he was scrolling through social media. After coming across a reel, he sent it to his sister and suggested they start a business together.

This was not their first entrepreneurial attempt. They revealed that they had launched a business nearly two years ago, but it did not succeed. Instead of giving up, they remained determined and used the experience to motivate themselves to start a new venture.

With encouragement from their parents, cousins, and other family members, they finalized a location and established Element C, a business focused on promoting healthy snacking through fresh fruit cups.

Tazneem said they took the step with complete faith in God and hoped to inspire people to adopt healthier eating habits by making fresh fruits more appealing and accessible.

Recalling the early days of the business, Abdullah said it took nearly three hours to sell just ten fruit cups on the first day. However, as customer interest grew, the business now sells around fifty cups daily.

Tazneem said the positive response from customers has been overwhelming. She noted that some customers arrive even after the stall has closed, while others message in advance to confirm whether the stall is open before visiting.

She also highlighted the family's dedication to maintaining quality. According to Tazneem, their parents purchase fresh fruits during the night, while the siblings wake up early each morning to prepare and cut the fruits, ensuring every cup is served fresh.

Sharing his perspective on entrepreneurship, Abdullah said that while a job may limit one's thinking, running a business broadens perspectives and encourages personal growth.

Speaking about the brand name, Tazneem said she suggested the name Element C because it was unique, modern, and reflected a Gen-Z identity.
