An Islamabad labourer has gone viral on social media by sharing his daily routine through TikTok and Instagram reels, showing his followers how he spends his days on the streets seeking work and clients.
The workman, who uses the Instagram handle Aminvlogs, also runs a YouTube channel with 2.86k subscribers. His TikTok videos have garnered millions of views, and he boasts 36.9k followers on the platform.
Originally from Swabi, Amin describes himself as a painter in his Instagram bio.
He routinely sits by the roadside in Islamabad with his labour tools and painting brushes, waiting with his colleagues for clients to hire them for different tasks.
As his videos gained a significant following on social media, several news channels interviewed Amin for his unique approach to recording his workday on reels.
In an interview, Amin revealed that he has been a labourer for ten years and only started vlogging three to four months ago.
He earns between Rs60,000 to Rs70,000 from TikTok and spends about ten minutes daily filming his vlogs to share with his followers.
The social media star explained that he regularly uploads vlogs, saying, "I used to sit idly when I had no clients, so I started making vlogs."
Amin’s followers actively encourage him in the comments, often expressing delight at his habit of referring to foods he likes as “meetha (sweet).”
