Karachi is expected to experience light rain due to southern winds that are anticipated to be active in the port city from today (Friday), according to weather analyst Jawad Memon.
“Weather would remain pleasant in Karachi, as the system is likely to pass through the Arabian Sea, which moistens the winds, and cloud cover is expected to persist in the city,” he explained.
He added that conditions are expected to cause light downpours and drizzling in Karachi. “There are 50 to 60% chances of drizzle, while he predicted 40 to 50% chances of rain.”
Following this system, Karachi would welcome summer, when the mercurry is expected to reach 32°C to 33°C, while the anticipated feel-like temperature would increase more, he added.
