Karachi farmer breaks new ground with Rs300,000 per kg Miyazaki Mango cultivation

In a groundbreaking achievement, Karachi-based farmer, Ghulam Hashim Noorani, has successfully cultivated the Miyazaki mangoes, known for their exceptional quality and hefty price tags.
The farmer started small-level cultivation of Rs300,000 Japani mangoes in Malir area of the metropolis.
Talking to a private news channel, Ghulam said that he wants to expand farming across the country to transform Pakistan's mango industry.
According to the farmer, the premium mangoes command a staggering $800 to $900 per kilogram in global markets.
Miyazaki mangoes are renowned for their vibrant red and purple hues and unique flavour.
Noorani expressed optimism about the future of Miyazaki mango cultivation in Pakistan, saying that the Malir's fertile lands and abundant yields will play a key role in the successful harvest.
This breakthrough is expected to propel Pakistan's mango industry to new heights, capitalising on the global demand for this luxury fruit.
