Karachi's private zoo welcomes six white African lion cubs

A private zoo in Karachi called "DanZoo" has welcomed six white African lion cubs. 

According to the DanZoo administration, all six cubs of the white African lions are male, and they are all in good health.

The administration stated that this is a record for the simultaneous birth of the highest number of cubs by white lions in South Asia.

To ensure the well-being of the cubs, the administration has appointed zookeepers and veterinary staff.

DanZoo is located in Bahria Town Karachi and it is Pakistan's first Day & Night Zoo. Masses can enjoy the jungle Kingdom in a unique setting within an enclosed and secure environment.

Last year in March, Karachi zoo witnessed the fourth big cat fatality in three years on Thursday when an exotic male tiger was reported dead.

According to sources, the 13-year-old golden tabby tiger had been ill for a long time and apparently failed to receive proper care.

A Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) official, however, denied this information, specially the age, and insisted that the tiger was old and had completed its average lifespan in captivity.
