Karachi experienced sweltering conditions on the second day of Eid, with the mercury rising to 36°C. The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecasted that hot and dry weather will persist in the port city over the coming days.

The minimum temperature recorded in the city was 20°C, accompanied by light winds coming from the northwest. The humidity level was noted at 61%.

The weather department predicts that temperatures could range between 36°C and 38°C in Karachi in the coming days.

While Sindh continues to experience the heat, rainfall and snowfall are expected to affect the upper mountainous regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, North Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir. In contrast, the plains of Sindh and Punjab are likely to be enveloped in moderate to dense fog.

Weather forecasters predict that hot and dry conditions will persist in most areas of Sindh, including Karachi, for the next 24 hours.

This morning, temperatures across various cities were as follows, Islamabad recorded 7°C, Lahore 10°C, Karachi 19°C, Peshawar 9°C, Quetta 1°C, Gilgit 0°C, Murree 3°C, and Muzaffarabad 8°C.
