Karachi to receive light to moderate rain from June 4

Karachiites are expected to get relief from the ongoing heatwave as the city is likely to receive light to moderate rain from June 4, weather experts said on Saturday.
According to weatherman Naveed Khatri, the port city is likely to receive light drizzle from June 4 or 5 under the influence of Somalian thrust.
Similarly, weather analyst Jawad Memon predicted that pre-monsoon moisture will hit Karachi from June 4.
The metropolis on May 29 witnessed the hottest day of 2024 with the temperature recorded at 41.5°C.
On the other hand, the Pakistan Meteorological Department said that many parts of the country would receive above-normal monsoon rains from June to August.
However, the scorching temperature in the megalopolis will subside from today (June 1).
