The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said that the port city will remain hot and humid today (June 25).

According to the Met office, the temperature may fluctuate between 38 degree Celsius to 40 degree Celsius in the metropolis.

The humidity ratio will remain at 76 percent in the air with the lowest temperature to fall at 30.5°C, it added.

The citizens are advised to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and avoid unnecessary outings between 11am to 3am.

A day earlier, the feels-like temperature hit 51°C in the megapolis.

On the other hand, 300 bodies were brought to the Edhi centre's morgues in the past three days, Faisal Edhi said.

However, he did not comment on the cause of the deaths that occurred over the past three days.
