CM Gandapur to provide free Wifi service in public parks of Peshawar

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur-led government has decided to provide free Wi-Fi service in public parks of the provincial capital, Peshawar.
The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by CM Gandapur, which was related to the city's infrastructure and the extension of technology.
In the meeting, the CM directed the concerned authorities to form a comprehensive plan for wifi service and present it before the cabinet for approval.
The Wi-Fi service plan is to be extended to other cities in the province in the second phase, according to the CM.
The meeting also discussed transportation plans and decided to start a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service on Nasir Bagh Road in Peshawar.
Gandapur directed to complete the construction of the Warsak-Nasir Bagh Road as soon as possible and ordered repair works on the road around the BRT Corridor at the university road.
The ministers of KP were directed to place artificial plants on the pathways on the road along with painting walls with designs that represent province's culture.
Moreover, the provincial head directed the authorities to convert street lights to solar power and urged for the construction of underpasses instead of overhead bridges.
