More rainfall expected in Karachi today

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Tuesday said that the port city is expected to receive more rain today (June 9).
According to the Met office, parts of Karachi are expected to witness light to moderate rain with strong winds and thunderstorm.
The showers are likely to hit the metropolis after 3pm, the weather department added.
However, the weather will remain hot and humid during the next 24 hours in Sindh's capital.
The Met office said that the minimum temperature recorded at 30°C in the megalopolis during the 24 hours.
"The maximum temperature will hover between 35°C-37°C," it said, adding that the humidity level in the air is 59%.
A day earlier, different areas of Karachi received light to moderate rainfall.
The most downpours were witnessed in Surjani Town (7 millimetres), followed by Gulshan-e-Hadeed (4mm) and Kemari (1mm).
