The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has reportedly suspended nine employees after complaints about the unavailability of luggage trolleys for passengers at Karachi airport.

According to details, the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) took immediate action and suspended nine of its deployed staff members at the airport. Those suspended include the shift duty field officer (DFO), deputy DFO and trolley staff.

Airport officials said that passengers were forced to carry their luggage on their own after trolleys were not allowed to be taken outside the terminal building. An inquiry into the matter was conducted under the supervision of the Karachi airport manager.

The issue surfaced after several complaints about the lack of trolley availability were raised by passengers on social media a few days ago.
