Traffic accidents in Karachi have claimed more than 800 lives so far in 2025, according to rescue sources.
Authorities report that fatalities include 632 men, 81 women, 71 boys, and 22 girls. In addition, 11,596 people have been injured in traffic incidents this year, including 9,081 men, 1,815 women, 536 boys, and 164 girls.
Collisions involving heavy vehicles have been particularly deadly, resulting in 244 deaths. Among these, 95 were caused by trailer accidents, 56 by water tankers, 41 by dumpers, 32 by buses, and 20 by Mazdas.
