Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir has said that the nation stands united like a “solid wall” against all internal and external challenges.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations, the 275th Corps Commanders’ Conference was held under the chairmanship of Field Marshal Asim Munir.

The forum paid tribute to the armed forces, law enforcement agencies, and civilians who sacrificed their lives in defence of the motherland, stating that the eternal sacrifices of martyrs remain the foundation of Pakistan’s national security, unity, and resilience.

The conference reaffirmed that terrorist networks would be completely eliminated and their supporting infrastructure dismantled. It added that the current operational momentum would be maintained to prevent any hostile activity on Pakistani soil.

The forum reviewed ongoing operations, including Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq, aimed at dismantling terror elements and their support systems.

The forum stated that, under what it described as misguided policies, the Afghan Taliban regime is providing safe havens to extremist groups and other terror organisations. It added that such actions run contrary to the interests of the Afghan people and that the regime has been exposed before its own जनता.

It further said that the Afghan Taliban regime is spreading propaganda by falsely accusing Pakistan of targeting civilians.

reiterated that its defensive actions are solely directed against infiltrators, terrorists, and their infrastructure, based on precise targeting. The forum noted that evolving geopolitical developments could significantly impact regional stability.

The conference emphasised the importance of restraint and avoiding escalation, stating that Pakistan continues to act responsibly and supports efforts to promote stability in the region. It stressed that peace and stability depend on mutual restraint, responsibility, and respect for sovereignty.

The forum said that commemorating “Marka-e-Haq” at the national level sends a clear message to India’s aggressive political mindset—that the Pakistani nation remains united, strong, and fully prepared.

It strongly condemned ongoing human rights violations, extrajudicial killings, and demographic changes in Jammu and Kashmir, reaffirming Pakistan’s diplomatic, political, and moral support for the people of the region.

According to ISPR, the Chief of Defence Forces directed commanders to maintain high levels of vigilance and operational preparedness in view of emerging threats. He stressed the need for continued professional excellence and coordinated responses, as well as proactive measures to address both conventional and non-conventional challenges.

Marka-e-Haq symbolises the unwavering harmony between the public, the government, and the armed forces, said the Field Marshal. On the completion of a commemorative year of Marka-e-Haq, he congratulated the nation and the armed forces, calling it a significant milestone.

He added that Marka-e-Haq reflects national unity, collective resolve, and an unwavering commitment to safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty at all costs. It stands as a symbol of strong cohesion between the people, the government, and the armed forces, united like a “fortified structure” against all challenges.

The Chief of Defence Forces also expressed satisfaction over the preparedness, professionalism, and combat capabilities of the armed forces, and appreciated the resolve, vigilance, and success of commanders and formations in counterterrorism operations.
