Pakistan’s NDMA has, reportedly, dispatched another 100-tonne consignment of tent aid for the people of Gaza.
According to reports, the shipment is only of tents to provide shelter for displaced Palestinians. It has been sent in collaboration with the Alkhidmat Foundation.
The consignment was sent on a special flight from Allama Iqbal International Airport to El Arish International Airport in Egypt for delivery onto the Gaza Strip.
Bilal Yasin, the Punjab housing minister, attended the send-off ceremony with senior officials from the NDMA and the MoFA.
This marks Pakistan’s 28th relief consignment to Gaza since the conflict between Israel and Hamas erupted in October 2023.
Authorities emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to aiding vulnerable communities and pledged to continue its efforts in coordination with local and international partners.
