A Pakistani company specializing in prosthetics has successfully fitted a war-affected girl from Gaza, named Sidra, with an artificial arm.

According to the company, the procedure was made possible through cooperation with its official partner in Jordan.

This marks the beginning of a broader mission aimed at supporting individuals in Gaza who have been disabled due to the ongoing conflict.

The company emphasized its commitment to assisting civilians in conflict zones, stating that this initiative is just the start.

The larger goal is to reach more children and adults affected by the war, providing them with custom-designed prosthetic limbs and long-term care solutions.

Earlier,  a sixth-grade student received an artificial arm at the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

On April 15, Punjab's first woman CM visited Government Girls High School in Murree, where she met Saaniya Abbasi, who had lost her hand in childhood.

During the meeting, CM Maryam promised the female student to give her an artificial hand, which would help Saaniya in her daily life chores.

However, CM Punjab has fulfilled her promise by gifting the girl a bionic hand.

Expressing gratitude to CM Maryam, Saaniya revealed that her parents were not able to bear the expenses of her surgery.
