A woman of Pakistani origin recently shared her experience of losing her job at Tesla in US, amidst the company's ongoing layoffs.
Taking to LinkedIn, she penned an emotional note reflecting on her time with the company, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to work alongside dedicated colleagues.
Despite her departure, she emphasized her pride in the contributions her team made to advancing charging technology for electric vehicles (EVs), making travel more seamless for all EV drivers.
The woman revealed that her entire team, comprising over 500 members, was disbanded suddenly. She highlighted the high standards of excellence they upheld in their work, setting a benchmark for the industry. Although no longer part of Tesla, she mentioned that her image would remain on the company's website as a reminder of their collective achievements, as she seeks her next professional challenge.
This news comes amid reports of CEO Elon Musk's restructuring efforts, which included the dismissal of senior management personnel like Rebecca Tinucci, senior director of the Supercharger business, and Daniel Ho, head of new products. Musk had previously indicated his intention to let go of employees associated with these executives, citing the company's declining sales.
