A Pakistani pilgrim has given birth to a healthy baby boy at Jabalur Rahma Hospital in the Mount Arafat, marking the first birth in this location for the year and adding a poignant moment to the spiritual journey of millions of Muslims.
The mother, who has chosen to maintain anonymity and declined photography, delivered her baby during the 37th week of pregnancy. The newborn weighs 3 kilograms and 40 grams and is reported to be in good health by hospital sources.
The medical team, led by the attending doctor, confirmed the well-being of both mother and baby, who are under observation for further assessment.
Dr. Amina Al-Sheikh, the lead doctor, expressed her joy at the successful delivery, highlighting the baby's healthy weight and normal condition. "The birth of a child is always a joyous occasion, and witnessing such an event during the Hajj adds a special dimension. Both mother and child are stable, and we are ensuring their ongoing care," she remarked.
This remarkable event unfolded on the Day of Arafat, a profoundly significant day in the Islamic calendar, where millions of pilgrims gather to pray on Mount Arafat. This gathering symbolizes forgiveness and mercy, representing the pinnacle of the Hajj pilgrimage.
