In a distressing incident, a young Pakistani researcher, identified as Anthony Shoukat, was killed by robbers for showing resistance in Portugal.
According to the details, the sad incident took place in the Porto city of Portugal on Friday.
The news was shared by a Facebook page, named Christians in Pakistan.
Shoukat, who hailed from Lahore, was hit with bullets for resisting robbery, his family informed.
The victim's family member said that Shoukat had travelled to Portugal for a research project of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital.
The victim had acquired a degree of masters from Sweden and a PhD from Germany.
The family requested the Pakistani government to help them repatriate the deceased body soon.
