Parts of Karachi to receive drizzle today, forecasts MET office

A potential drop in temperatures is forecasted for Karachi starting today, with chances of light drizzle in some parts of the city.

According to the Meteorological Department, the next 24 hours will see hot and humid conditions in the city. The maximum temperature is expected to range between 35°C and 37°C.

The department reports that the humidity level is at 75%, with winds blowing from the west at a speed of 16 kilometers per hour.

On the other hand, a private meteorological agency indicates that strong sea breezes will prevail in Karachi from Monday to Saturday. During this period, the sky will be partly cloudy, and winds are expected to blow at speeds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.

The agency also predicts that the temperature in Karachi will remain between 33°C and 35°C from Monday to Saturday. Due to the high humidity, the temperature may feel higher than the actual readings.

Furthermore, due to the presence of marine clouds, light drizzle may occur late at night in some areas of the city.
