Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has convened a meeting of the Pakistan Army-backed investment body Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) on Saturday (May 25).
The 10th apex-committee meeting is set to be held at 11:45am tomorrow at Prime Minister's house in Islamabad.
Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister for Planning Development & Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal, Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan and Law and Justice Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar will attend the meeting.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti will also be part of the high-officials meeting.
However, PM Shebaz Sharif has forgotten to invite Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur to the meeting, who is the staunch rival of the coalition federal government.
Reacting to the development, KP government spokesperson Barrister Saif said that PM Shehbaz's move exposed the "extreme prejudice" against PTI's provincial setup.
