PM Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan is working hard to get foreign investment and make it easier for people to do business here.

The remarks came during a meeting with a delegation from Qatar’s Taameer Group, led by founder Mohammad Al Ali.

The meeting focused on expanding investment opportunities in Pakistan’s tourism, hospitality, real estate, and construction sectors.

PM Shehbaz Sharif said that Qatar has always helped Pakistan when things were tough and that the government is trying to remove obstacles that stop investment from coming in.

He also told the people in charge to help the Taameer Group much as possible with their current and future investments in Pakistan.

According to the PMO statement, Mohammad Al Ali briefed the prime minister on the group’s existing projects in Pakistan and expressed strong interest in expanding investments further.

Moreover, he said work had already begun on several initiatives linked to the hotel industry, real estate, and construction sectors.

The Qatari businessman also praised the government’s economic and investment policies, saying that measures introduced under the SIFC were encouraging international investors to explore opportunities in Pakistan.
