The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted another hot day in Karachi, with temperatures expected to reach 40°C in the metropolis.
Previously, on October 22, the Met Office had anticipated a decline in temperatures for Karachi starting October 27. However, the latest advisory indicates that temperature is expected to rise to between 38℃ and 40℃.
A minimum temperature of 25℃ was recorded in Karachi, and it was noted that westerly winds were blowing through the city, accompanied by a humidity level of 77 percent.
Meanwhile, the weather in other areas of the country has shifted to a wintery condition, as sea breezes have begun to affect multiple regions.
Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz stated that winter waves have entered the country, as temperatures have dropped in Islamabad and northern areas, where the weather is now cooler than in previous days.
He said that the restoration of the sea breeze caused a transformation in the temperature of Karachi, which is expected to decline by the end of October.
Additionally, there are fewer chances of rain across the country in October and November. Predictions indicate that there will not be a more intense winter wave in Pakistan.
