KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader and Senator Saleem Mandviwalla has rejected social media reports and posts circulating about President Asif Ali Zardari, terming them false, baseless and misleading.

Reacting to the online claims, the senator said that the information being shared regarding President Asif Ali Zardari is fabricated and has no factual basis.

He strongly condemned the spread of such content, calling it harmful and irresponsible.

He urged the public not to trust unverified information circulating on social media, adding that the use of fake news for political purposes is deeply regrettable.

Mandviwalla further called on relevant authorities to take action against those responsible for spreading misinformation.

He also confirmed that the President is in good health and appealed to citizens not to believe in rumours.
