Punjab announces 1,000 paid internships: here's how to apply

In a bid to empower the youth of Punjab, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched the Magnificent Punjab Internship Program.
The new initiative, aimed at bridging the gap between education and the workforce, will offer 1,000 paid internships in the fields of tourism, archaeology, and museums, starting in March 2025.
The program offers a monthly stipend of Rs. 60,000 and will run for three months, with the first batch of 250 interns selected.
Candidates must be aged 21 to 28 and have completed their degrees in relevant disciplines between January 2023 and December 2024.
Eligible candidates will have an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and improve their skills in various industries such as tourism, hospitality management, history, archaeology, business administration, marketing, and IT.
Applications must be submitted by February 5, 2025, through the official website, mpip.punjab.gov.pk.
Successful candidates will not only receive a stipend but will also gain professional training that aligns with industry demands, enhancing their job prospects.
The program also includes specific guidelines regarding attendance, dress code, and task completion, with a focus on professionalism and responsibility.
