Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz announces 3,200 plots for journalists

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced to provide plots to 3,200 journalists, highlighting her commitment to the journalist community.

In a recent meeting with Provincial Information Minister Azma Bukhari, the Chief Minister directed the Information Ministry to take immediate action for the establishment of the “Journalist Colony Lahore Phase Two.”

“Merits and legal requirements will be fulfilled while awarding the plots to the journalists,” assured the CM Maryam.

Maryam Nawaz declared the media and government two wheels of a same vehicle and called the project of “Journalists Colony Lahore phase-two” the right of the journalists.

The ministry of Information Punjab has now decided to call for the applications for plots from the journalists.

In the coming few days, an official advertisement will be published in this regard.
