Sahir Hasan, son of veteran actor Sajid Hasan, had been producing hashish at home and allegedly using drugs since the age of eight, according to a police official.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Special Investigation Unit, Shoaib Memon, stated that Sahir has no connection to Mustafa Amir’s murder and was "just a drug dealer."
“The actor’s son was arrested on the tip-off information after suspects Armaghan and Shiraz revealed some names in the initial investigation of the case,” he added.
Sharing details of Sajid Hassan’s son's arrest, SSP Memon said that police had raided the home at DHA’s Khayaban-e-Rahat, where Sahir was captured red-handed. However, they were initially unaware that he was the actor’s son.

“At least 550 gram weed, worth Rs5.5 million was recovered from his bag,” he stated, adding, “it was California cultivated weed."
However, SSP clarified that “accused Sahir Hasan has nothing to do with Mustafa Amir’s murder and is just a drug dealer.”
Shoaib Memon further revealed that Sahir Hasan, in his statement, admitted to starting drug use at the age of eight and had been using weed for the past 13 years while he started selling weed two years ago.
“The video on the accused’s mobile phone showed that he had cultivated drug plants at home. He used to sell one gram of weed for Rs10,000, while in just one week he used to sell weed worth more than Rs5 million,” according to SSP.
