Saudi Arabia 'invites' PM Shehbaz to visit Kingdom and perform Umrah

In a gesture of goodwill, Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has invited Prime Minister Shehbaz to the kingdom to perform Umrah, well-placed sources said on Thursday.

According to the sources, PM Shehbaz will be the royal guest in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 

He would spend the last 3-4 days of the holy month of Ramadan in Makkah, the sources added.

Sources said the premier will also hold meetings with the Saudi crown prince and high officials to further boost the bilateral ties between the brotherly countries.

However, the final schedule of the PML-N President's visit to the kingdom has not been announced yet.
