Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat lost his temper and flew into a rage after a journalist called him a "beggar".
The incident took place outside the Adiala jail in Rawalpindi, where the PTI lawmaker was barred from meeting party founder Imran Khan.
Before asking a question, the journalist cautioned him that his inquiry contained hard words.
"Your party sources said that you approached PML-N's Khawaja Asif and Speaker National Assembly [Ayaz Sadiq] to 'beg' for the Public Accounts Committee's chairmanship," the journalist questioned.
At this, the outspoken PTI leader stopped the journalist, in the middle, from asking a question, saying "Use your words appropriately."
"You are a beggar and I curse upon the journalist who uses derogatory language. You won't be allowed to ask me the question again in the future," the PTI stalwart lashed out in response.
Moreover, Marwat directed his personal secretary not to allow the journalist to attend his presser or ask him any questions in the future.
Earlier in the day, Marwat announced dissociation from his party over Shibli Faraz and Omar Ayub Khan's biased behavior toward him.
