A defence journal in Britain has sparked a new debate on number of Rafale losses in Pakistan-India may clash after it claimed that four Indian Dassault Rafale fighter jets were shot down in the aerial clash.
The claims were, however, rejected by India as this news gained momentum over social media.
The Key Aero magazine provided the serial numbers BS001, BS021, BS022 and BS027 as being the Rafales that were shot down during combat with India in May.
The article by Key Aero also claims that MiG-29, Su-30 and Heron drones were also destroyed.
On May 10 Pakistan’s JF-17C Block 3 smashed the S-400 defense system in Udhampur and command systems in Barnala were also finished off.
It is also reported that Pakistani cyberattacks halted nearly 96 percent of India's social networks and digital systems.
Pakistani Air Force also shot down an Indian MiG-21in Operation Swift Retort after which the Indian Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan acknowledged the destruction of Indian planes in an interview.
