Unknown armed men set several govt buildings on fire in Kalat

Unknown armed individuals blocked the Quetta-Karachi Highway in Kalat's Mongochar area and torched several government buildings in the local bazaar on Friday night, according to sources.
As per reports, a group of armed individuals stopped traffic on the national highway and searched multiple vehicles, including passenger buses and cars.
Subsequently, they stormed the Mongochar bazaar in Kalat, taking control of several government buildings and setting them on fire.
The targeted buildings included the offices of the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra), the Judicial Complex, and the National Bank of Pakistan.

According to sources, the armed group entered the bazaar, took control of the area, and deliberately set fire to the government buildings. The blaze caused extensive damage to the structures.
The armed men managed to escape before the arrival of the security forces. However, they have yet to be arrested.
According to the sources, security forces launched an operation and restored traffic on the highway.
In a separate incident, a Levies official, Haq Nawaz Langove, was killed when a group of armed men on motorcycles attacked a check post near Kot-Langove.
The attackers opened fire, resulting in the death of the official.

After attacking the checkpost, a powerful explosion occurred under the bridge on the Quetta-Karachi national highway near the Kalat district, leaving the bridge slightly damaged.
Another incident was witnessed from the Khudkocha area of Mastong, where unknown armed men opened fire on a passenger bus, resulting in six, including a woman and two children, sustaining injuries; however, no deaths were reported.
Mastung Assistant Commissioner Akram Harifal stated that victims were being treated in Ghous Bakhsh Memorial Hospital.
