The Punjab Government has introduced the ‘Karobar Card’ loan scheme to assist small business owners in the province.
The scheme offers loans ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs1 million for eligible applicants. The announcement was made during a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Saturday.
Alongside the ‘Karobar Card,’ the government also launched the ‘Chief Minister Aasan Karobar Financing Scheme,’ which aims to support medium-sized businesses. This scheme provides loans of up to Rs30 million, with a repayment period of five years.
Both initiatives are designed to boost economic growth, create employment opportunities, and strengthen the business and industrial sectors in Punjab.
These loan schemes are part of a broader series of initiatives by the Punjab government, including the Punjab Free Solar Panel Scheme and the Honhaar Scholarship Scheme, all aimed at providing relief and support to the people of Punjab.
