Following the torrential downpours in the port city that ended on Saturday, the Pakistan Meteorologist Department has predicted another spell of monsoon rains in Karachi.

According to the Met Office, moist currents from the Bay of Bengal are expected to enter Pakistan today (Monday).

Under the influence of this weather system, thundershowers with isolated heavy falls are likely in all four provinces of the country.

Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz said currently, the system is located over the eastern coast of India.

However, the intensity of the system is not severe, which will bring light rain in the metropolis for two days, Tuesday and Wednesday (September 3 and 4).

Rain-wind and light downpours are also expected in Sukkur, Larkana, Khairpur, Dadu, Jacobabad, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan Tharparkar, Mirpurkhas, Umarkot and Sanghar from September 3 to 4 with occasional gaps.
