The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted that the second and final solar eclipse of this year will occur in October.

According to the PMD, the eclipse will commence at 8:45pm and reach its peak visibility in the specific regions at 11:45pm, culminating in a complete eclipse by 2:47am.

However, the solar eclipse will not be observed in Pakistan due to the darkness of the night.

The South and North US and Antarctica would witness the final solar eclipse of 2024.

According to Space.com, during this celestial spectacle, the moon will appear smaller than the sun, surrounded by a radiant ring of sunlight, known as the “ring of fire.”

An annular solar eclipse occurs when the moon enters directly over the sun’s disc, and obscures most of the sun, instead of the entire sun like a total eclipse, as per NASA.
