Zakir Naik praises Dr Israr for predicting BJP coming into power 20 years back

Religious scholar Dr Zakir Naik has praised Dr Israr for his visionary prediction about the BJP coming into power in India when it was holding only a few seats.

During an address in Karachi, Naik said Dr Israr was a visionary man. He predicted the Bhartiya Janta Party coming into power back when it held only a few seats in India.

Naik recalling his meeting with Dr Israr, said the religious scholar told him that you would see Islamic institutions in Pakistan, not Islam

Dr Zakir Naik, who is currently in Pakistan, will hold private meetings till October 10 in the port city.

He will then travel to Lahore and deliver lectures on October 12 and 13, and later in Islamabad on October 19 and 20.

Earlier, Dr. Zakir Naik publicly expressed his disappointment with Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) CEO for charging him for excess luggage during his visit to Pakistan as a state guest.

In his Karachi series of lectures, Naik revealed that the PIA CEO had offered him assistance during his journey, but things took a turn when the issue of excess luggage arose.

Naik disclosed that he was carrying 600kg of extra luggage, and the PIA CEO offered a 50% discount on the excess luggage fee.
