WhatsApp to launch Meta AI widget for quick access on home screen

One of the key features of the widget is the ability to quickly capture and share photos with Meta AI. Users will be able to ask the AI to assist with tasks such as photo editing, content analysis, or answering questions related to the image.

The widget will be available to users who have access to AI-powered chats, which are currently limited to specific countries and users.

It will be listed alongside other WhatsApp widgets, allowing users to add it to their home screens for easy access.

WhatsApp is also working on another feature that will allow users to create and customize their own AI chatbots within the app.

This tool will enable users to define their AI companions' personalities, goals, and tasks, catering to needs such as motivation or organization.
