Amid rampant street crimes in Karachi, another young boy was killed by armed dacoits for resisting robbery in the metropolis.

According to the details, the deceased was identified as Bismillah, 18, and the incident took place in Bhains colony area of the port city on Sunday night.

The victim's father said Bismillah was playing a game on his mobile phone with his friend when two armed robbers tried to loot them.

Bismillah threw his mobile phone on the street which enraged bandits, he added.

On the other hand, the police claimed that the incident did not happen during robber resistance.

However, the law enforcers are investigating the matter.

The surge in street crimes has instilled fear and insecurity among Karachi's citizens, as robbers continue to commit crimes with impunity.

In the first six months of the ongoing year, almost 74 people were killed by dacoits for showing resistance during the robbery incidents in Karachi.

The incidents have raised concerns about the city's law and order situation, with many calling for increased security measures to prevent such crimes.
