New details have emerged in the ongoing investigation into an alleged drug network in Karachi involving a suspect identified as Anmol, also known as “Pinky,” often referred to in reports as the “Cocaine Queen.”
According to sources, individuals aged between 16 and 24, reportedly students enrolled in various educational institutions, are among those suspected of purchasing cocaine, including a more expensive variant referred to as “gold cocaine.”
Investigators claim that students from private educational institutions are among those allegedly involved, while efforts are underway to identify and expose those facilitating the drug supply chain.
Investigation sources further revealed that Anmol, during questioning, allegedly stated that students from several educational institutions in Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore were among her clients.
It is further alleged that drugs were delivered through ride-hailing couriers, while female networks were used for supplying narcotics to female students.
Following these revelations, law enforcement authorities have intensified efforts to uncover drug distribution networks operating within and around educational institutions.
Officials are currently analysing mobile phone data and contact lists linked to the suspect in order to trace connections and identify individuals involved in procurement and distribution.
Authorities are also working to determine which educational institutions may be connected to the alleged drug purchases, as well as the communication and transaction methods used in the network.
The scope of the investigation has been expanded, and further arrests are expected as inquiries progress.
