Armed robbers loot truck carrying 30 sacrificial goats in Karachi

Amid rampant street crimes in Karachi, a truck carrying 30 sacrificial goats was looted by four armed dacoits in the port city.

The brazen looting incident occurred near Kamran Chowrangi in the Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of the metropolis.

According to police officials, the suspects on two motorbikes intercepted the truck and took the driver hostage before making off with the vehicle and its valuable cargo.

The affected trader, Abdul Manan, has filed a report with the local police, who have launched an investigation into the incident. 

"We have started the investigation and are searching for the accused," said a police spokesperson.

In another incident,  a sacrificial animal was injured by armed dacoits during a robbery bid in Karachi's Saeedabad.

Police said that the two armed suspects opened fire during the robbery attempt, which injured one citizen and a sacrificial animal.

However, one of the robbers, Huzaifa, was arrested by the law enforcers, while another bandit, Sohail, managed to escape from the scene.
