Disturbing CCTV footage of robbery incident in Karachi's Soldier Bazaar area surfaces

In yet another deadly street crime incident in Karachi, an armed dacoit was shot dead by his own accomplice, while a robbery victim lost his life and his companion was injured for resisting a snatching attempt in the Soldier Bazaar area.

The horrifying incident came to light after CCTV footage surfaced, showing a violent altercation between the dacoits and two men on a motorcycle near the Jamaat Khana in Soldier Bazaar in the early hours of Tuesday, February 4.

Four robbers on two motorcycles intercepted two men riding together on a single bike.

The armed criminals attempted to rob the victims, during which one of the victims, identified as Tahir Bizenjo, grabbed hold of one of the robbers.

In response to the resistance, one of the robbers opened fire and killed his accomplice, Abdullah, on the spot. The gunfire also injured both victims.

Meanwhile, the remaining robbers fled the scene.

The victims, identified as Tahir Bizenjo and Saddam, were seen injured in the CCTV footage while one of the was making a phone call.

33-year-old Tahir succumbed to his injuries shortly after the incident.

According to police, Tahir and Saddam were cousins, and they were en route to visit other relatives when the tragic incident occurred.

This latest incident marks the seventh street crime-related death in Karachi in 2025. 

Tahir’s friend shared that the victims, from Turbat, were involved in the import and export business.
